Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Greensboro, NC is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up, run, and maintain paint and coating production equipment, mix liquids, and ensure customer specs are met. This role emphasizes safety, clean work areas, and efficient production.

You will operate high‑speed dispersers, pumps and forklifts, prebatch, inspect tickets, monitor batch yields and quality, and log production data. Strong teamwork and adherence to SOPs are required; prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing and/or distribution facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate paint-making control systems and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prebatch and inspect tickets; follow batch slip instructions.
• Operate drop stations and meters; monitor batch for proper grind or mix.
• Measure tanks for yield and monitor quality of materials.
• Maintain logs and production records; report breakdowns promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete orders on time.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.
• Keep tools and work area clean and organized daily.
