Job summary

The Toro Company in Tomah, Wisconsin, is hiring a Paint Associate to prepare, hang, and remove parts on the paint line, ensuring proper coverage and quality. You will inspect parts, keep the area organized and safe, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.

Starting pay is $21.21 per hour for 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm) with overtime as needed. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures, manuals, and instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and company systems).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and hang parts, components, or assemblies on paint line rack or fixtures according to specifications.
• Ensure proper spacing, balance, and alignment of parts for optimal coating coverage.
• Mask or plug surfaces as required to protect areas from paint.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and quality before hanging.
• Assist with loading and unloading the paint line and organize workflow.
• Inspect parts for cleanliness, damage, or defects before and after painting.
• Maintain work area cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
• Report any issues, shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
