Job summary

CNH Industrial in Grand Island, Nebraska, is seeking a full-time on-site manufacturing team member. You will help maintain production line pace, follow work instructions, and perform surface prep and paint preparation tasks, including blasting and operating related equipment.

Responsibilities include setting up blast booths, adapting to new methods, and maintaining records. Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required; 1 year of direct manufacturing experience is expected.

• 1 year of direct manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the production assembly line pace by providing necessary support, including: handing and unhanging parts on the paint line, utilizing scrapers, brushes, hand tools, and pressure sprayers, operating a hoist or overhead crane, and other equipment as necessary for assigned task.
• Work from work instructions, process sheets, check sheets, photos, and supervisor instructions.
• Component/surface preparation (i.e. scuff sanding, minor defect reparation, tacking, wiping, etc.) for paint process.
• Blast products to prepare for paint.
• Set up, adjust, and operate manual/automatic blast booths.
• Adapt to new methods, processes, materials and equipment.
• Perform tasks as required to move parts, attach and remove parts to and from conveyor components as instructed.
• Match parts to part numbers, keep counts and correct identification.
• Maintain accurate and organized records.
• Operation of equipment as necessary for assigned task.
• Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with company practice.
• Follow all safety and quality requirements/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Overtime may be required in addition to occasional Saturday operations.
