Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking an entry-level helper to support production operations in Beaver Dam, WI. The role involves loading and moving materials, preparing parts for shipment, and assisting machine operators under supervision.

Responsibilities include cleaning work areas, performing basic data entry, and following safety procedures while contributing to on-time production goals. Prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with other employees.

• Packages parts with protective material for shipments per setup or Engineering remarks.
• Applies masking to articles.
• Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted.
• May operate SST-E-coat system load control panel.
• Racks work pieces on conveyor; and inspects, and transfers finished pieces into or out of department.
• May perform inventory transactions.
• Cleans work area.
• Performs other routine duties.
• Perform basic functions on a computer database.

Perform helper's work having to do with production operations and processing such as: position light or heavy weight materials on conveyor or feed mechanism for continuous processing , or position and/or remove materials to assist Machine Operator, supply containers, light or heavy raw materials or perform other like work. Under close supervision.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
