Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a production helper to support assembly and finishing operations. Under close supervision, you will position materials, prepare containers, and assist the Machine Operator to maintain continuous workflow on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and may have 1–3 months of related experience. You will perform basic tasks, record transactions in a database, and follow safety procedures using PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Loads and moves materials to work area.
• Package parts with protective material for shipments per setup or Engineering remarks
• Applies masking to articles.
• Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted.
• May operate SST-E-coat system load control panel.
• Racks work pieces on conveyor; and inspects, and transfers finished pieces into or out of department.
• May perform inventory transactions.
• Cleans work area.
• Performs other routine duties.
• Perform basic functions on a computer database.

Under close supervision.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
