Job summary

RSI Group (SmartCap) in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Loader/Unloader for its Paint Department. You will load metal components onto paint line racks, prepare parts for powder coating, and ensure they are handled safely and efficiently.

After curing, you will unload components, inspect for defects, remove masking, and place finished parts in staging areas. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Load metal components onto paint line racks, hooks, and fixtures prior to the powder coating process.
• Unload painted components from the paint line after curing and place them in designated staging areas.
• Properly hang, position, and secure parts to ensure complete coating coverage.
• Inspect parts before loading to verify they are clean, properly prepared, and free of visible defects.
• Remove masking materials and inspect finished parts for handling damage after unloading.
• Follow production schedules to maintain continuous workflow throughout the paint line.
• Safely transport parts and materials between production areas as needed.
• Assist Powder Coaters and Paint Quality Inspectors to support daily production goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the paint line, racks, and work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental procedures.
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or production concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other production duties as assigned.
