Job summary

TREW is seeking a Paint line helper/loader to safely move parts onto and off the powder coating line, ensuring proper presentation for coating and maintaining line flow. You will assist with loading, spacing, and inspections to support coating quality and throughput.

You will stage finished parts, help minimize downtime, and uphold strict safety standards to protect workers and maintain line efficiency on-site at TREW.

Qualifications

  • Able to lift 25–50 lbs with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools and reading technical drawings.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality standards and safety.
  • Able to identify and address paint line related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Hang parts onto overhead conveyor racks according to defined standards.
  • Ensure proper orientation and spacing for optimal coating coverage.
  • Follow standards and specifications; conduct inspections and balance line workload.
  • Select and use appropriate hooks, racks, and fixturing.
  • Maintain consistent feed rate to support line throughput targets.
  • Safely remove coated parts from conveyor after curing and inspect for defects.
  • Stage or package parts for next operation.
  • Minimize downtime and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in good working order and arrange for maintenance.
  • Segregate non-conforming parts for rework.
  • Monitor and ensure all painted parts meet quality standards for orientation, rack density, and inspection.

Job description

As a Paint line helper/loader you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of parts onto and off the powder coating line. This role ensures proper part presentation for coating, maintains production flow, and supports overall line efficiency and quality.

Duties/ Responsibilities
  • Hang parts onto overhead conveyor racks according to defined standards
  • Ensure proper orientation and spacing for optimal coating coverage driven by best practices
  • Follow standards and specifications; conduct inspections as necessary. Drive to line balancing and volume loading of parts
  • Select and use appropriate hooks, racks, and fixturing
  • Maintain consistent feed rate to support line throughput targets
  • Safely remove coated parts from conveyor after curing
  • Inspect parts for visible defects
  • Stage or package parts for next operation
  • Minimize down time and look for bottle necks to trouble shoot
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order and arrange for necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Segregate non-conforming parts for rework
  • Monitor and ensure that all painted parts meet quality standards for part orientation, rack density, and inspection

Education

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee will frequently lift on average 20-50lbs throughout the course of 1 business day: higher weights with mechanical assist. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment can be considered quite loud in certain working environments.
