Job summary

Bosch in Norman, OK is seeking a production associate to perform insulation cutting and applying tasks, load/unload panels on the paint conveyor, and assist with assembly operations.

You will follow supervisor instructions, operate conveyor equipment, apply adhesive, inspect parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area while complying with PPE and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use adhesive equipment safely and correctly.
• Must perform very repetitive work with standing for long periods.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds repeatedly; may require assistance for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow supervisor instructions.
• Load/unload panels and operate conveyor as directed.
• Operate conveyor elevator lift as required.
• Apply adhesive and insulation per specifications.
• Inspect parts and repair or replace damaged insulation.
• Apply zinc chromate paint on panels as required.
• Stencil parts per supervisor directions.
• Identify parts and maintain production records.
• Report defects to Supervisor.
• Maintain tools and work area in clean, orderly condition.
• Observe all safety rules and PPE requirements.

Job Description

Perform a variety of duties to cut and apply insulation, load/unload panels, frames, and miscellaneous parts

on paint conveyor, sand paint and repair parts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. 1. Receive oral and/or written instructions and/or assignments from Supervisor.
2. 2. Load/unload paint conveyor according to sequence as directed by Supervisor.
3. 3. Operated conveyor elevator lift as required.
4. 4. Spray/brush adhesive compound on insulation/panels and apply insulation according to specifications.
5. 5. Visually check parts and repair damage by straightening, sanding, replacing damaged insulation, etc.
6. 6. Apply zinc chromite paint on panels as required.
7. 7. Stencil parts as directed by Supervisor.
8. 8. Identify part pieces, prepare and maintain production records as directed.
9. 9. Check part pieces and report any continuous defective condition to Supervisor.
10. 10. Clean, repair, restock and perform similar duties to maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
11. 11. Observe all applicable safety rules and regulations.

Continuous visual and some close mental attention to details involved in assembling unit to blueprint specifications.
