Ranew's Companies in Waterloo, IA seeks a Paint Lead to guide painters, maintain paint booths and inventory, and ensure efficient production. Starting pay ranges from $18.75 to $25.50 per hour, with 1st and 2nd shifts available. Benefits include performance bonus, medical, dental, vision, life, 401K.

As Paint Lead, you will supervise, perform paint duties when needed, order supplies, and ensure safety and quality standards are met daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead painters and monitor production initiatives.
• Ensure painters wear designated PPE during painting.
• Obtain supplies needed for painters to perform duties.
• Support breaks for painters and perform painter duties as needed.
• Complete PM's on equipment.
• Monitor powder usage.
• Maintain cleanliness of paint booths and power room.
• Perform color changes.
• Complete daily powder inventory.
• Order powder and supplies for production.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Rebuild power guns and equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors.
• Ensure adherence to quality control principles.
• Discuss paint defects with painters and implement corrective actions.
