Job summary

Tower Extrusions Ltd. is seeking an inventory/control specialist for paint products in our Texas facility. You will maintain accurate counts, log shipments, and ensure proper storage to preserve product quality.

You will collaborate with production to prepare orders, track usage, and perform regular cycle counts, while archiving quality documents and maintaining color samples for QC. This is a full-time on-site role with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management, especially paint or coatings is a big plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with product codes, batch numbers, and usage quantities.
• Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., EPICS, or similar) and basic Excel skills.
• Ability to lift and move paint containers (up to 50 lbs) in a warehouse environment.
• Proactive mindset to anticipate shortages or issues and ensure safety in handling chemical products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate counts of all paint products in inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments; verify color codes and batch numbers against master color panels.
• Organize and label paint stock for easy access and proper storage to maintain quality.
• Track usage and initiate purchase requests before supplies run low.
• Collaborate with production teams to prepare paint orders and report usage.
• Perform regular cycle counts (daily/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies with purchasing/accounting.
• Make determinations for disposition of aged/expired paints.
• Maintain current color samples for production QC and archive all related documents.
• Work on the shop floor to perform inventories and follow up as needed.
• Maintain Color Presentation area in Paint Lab for customer viewing.
