Job summary

Hamshaw Lumber Inc. is seeking outgoing, friendly team members to welcome and assist customers with their paint and hardware needs. No prior hardware or paint experience is required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, friendly, and helpful team players welcome and assist customers.
• Previous hardware or paint experience is a plus but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive representation of Hamshaw Lumber.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store; thank them when leaving.
• Help customers locate items and process special orders when necessary.
• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers and associates.
• Ensure calls and inquiries are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Be professional in appearance and actions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
