Brock Cabinets in North Carolina is seeking a skilled Paint Finisher to join our production team. This role is responsible for preparing, finishing, and applying coatings to cabinetry to ensure a high-quality, durable, and visually appealing final product.

The Paint Finisher will work with spray equipment and finishing tools to achieve smooth, even coatings, maintain finishing areas, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in cabinet finishing, wood finishing, or paint spraying preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift and move cabinet components as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and inspecting materials.
• Apply paint, stain, lacquer, or other finishes to cabinetry using spray equipment or other finishing tools.
• Ensure smooth, even coatings and consistent color across cabinet components.
• Inspect finished products for quality, defects, or imperfections and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Follow production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate has experience with cabinet finishing techniques, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work.The Paint Finisher plays a key role in the final stage of cabinet production, ensuring all products meet Brock Cabinets’ quality standards before delivery or installation.Key Responsibilities:Prepare cabinet surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and inspecting materialsApply paint, stain, lacquer, or other finishes to cabinetry using spray equipment or other finishing toolsEnsure smooth, even coatings and consistent color across cabinet componentsInspect finished products for quality, defects, or imperfections and perform touch-ups as neededMaintain finishing equipment, spray booths, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operationFollow production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standardsMix and match paint or stain colors as required for custom cabinet finishesFollow all safety procedures and proper handling guidelines for finishing materialsWork closely with production and quality teams to ensure finished cabinets meet specificationsExperience in cabinet finishing, wood finishing, or paint spraying preferredFamiliarity with spray guns, finishing equipment, and finishing materialsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to lift and move cabinet components as neededReliable, team-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
