Job summary

Ferrara/KME, a Terex Corporation subsidiary, is hiring for a finish technician focused on cleaning, sanding and polishing to a ready-for-paint finish. You will follow safety rules, inspect work, and support multiple production steps in a manufacturing environment.

You must read and understand English, be physically capable of lifting up to 40 pounds, and work well in a team to meet quality standards and schedule demands.

Qualifications

• Must possess a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Strong work ethic and be a team player.
• Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop; lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Polish sanded surfaces using an electric Buffer and compounds.
• Remove masking after paint or apply masking prior to a process.
• Sand surfaces or parts using a mechanical or hand sanding.
• Sand or grind areas to remove sharp edges, burrs or defects in preparation of paint.
• Some assembly or disassembly in areas of job function may be required.
• Wash, wax and clean exteriors, interiors and engine compartments.
