Job summary

Fresh Coat Painters is seeking an estimator to survey projects, estimate labor and material costs, and present proposals to customers in person using our branded estimating software. The role demands strong attention to detail and clear communication to meet client expectations and timelines.

The estimator will identify project requirements, options for materials, and ensure accurate documentation of all estimates and related paperwork, coordinating with the Project Manager and Crew Team Leader

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in painting/home services
• Sales and customer relations experience
• Previous on-the-job training/experience
• Ability to operate independently
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
• Time management planning skills

Responsibilities

• Survey projects and assess requirements, time, labor, and material costs.
• Present estimates to clients in-person in a professional manner
• Use Fresh Coat Branded estimating software for cost calculations
• Communicate job details to Project Manager and Crew Team Leader
• Maintain records of estimates, receipts, and project documentation
• Seek out new opportunities through marketing tactics and cold outreach
