Job summary

Spectrum Paint Company in Beaufort, SC is seeking a Part-time Counter Sales Program teammate to greet customers, advise on paint products, and process orders in-store and over the phone.

Responsibilities include tinting and preparing orders, identifying paint colors, handling transactions, inventory support, loading goods and assist with deliveries as needed, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transport.
• Be punctual, dependable and able to work in a fast-paced store.
• Team player who communicates well with customers and coworkers.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and use basic math for transactions.
• Color differentiation skills required for matching paints.

Responsibilities

• Greet and advise customers on product selection and usage.
• Assist customers over the phone and in-store with questions and orders.
• Prepare orders by mixing/tinting paint to specifications.
• Identify and match paint colors accurately.
• Process cash/credit transactions and maintain cash drawer.
• Assist with inventory and processing of incoming stock.
• Load/unload materials for customers and deliveries.
• Occasionally deliver products using company vehicle.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with coworkers to maintain smooth workflow.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as stocking and cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
