Job summary

Dent Wizard International is seeking an entry-level Automotive Paint Correction, Wet Sand & Buffing Technician in the New York area. You will perform paint correction, wet sanding, buffing, and cosmetic restoration to deliver showroom-quality results for our customers.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to travel to client locations for on-site service. Compensation is commission-based with uncapped earning potential, plus benefits and training

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive paint correction, wet sanding, buffing, detailing, paint chip repair, or collision repair.
• Strong understanding of paint restoration tools, techniques, and finishing processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and deliver results.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to inspect vehicle paint conditions and determine the best repair approach.
• Perform paint correction services including machine sanding, wet sanding, buffing, polishing, and finishing.
• Remove scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, paint defects, chips, and other cosmetic imperfections.
• Apply touch-up paint and UV Clear using Dent Wizard's proprietary repair processes.
• Restore vehicles to a high-gloss, showroom-quality finish through advanced detailing and paint restoration techniques.
• Communicate repair recommendations and set expectations with customers.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining Dent Wizard quality standards and productivity goals.
• Support route growth and customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and professionalism.
