Job summary

Dent Wizard International is seeking an entry-level Paint Correction & Wet Sanding Technician in Totowa, NJ. You’ll perform advanced detailing, wet sanding and paint restoration to eliminate imperfections and restore showroom-quality finishes, traveling to customer sites as needed.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, independence, and strong earning potential through a 100% commission-based pay structure with uncapped opportunities. Starting pay is $23.10/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive paint correction, wet sanding, buffing, detailing, paint chip repair or collision repair.
• Strong understanding of paint restoration tools, techniques and finishing processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to assess vehicle paint conditions and plan repair.
• Perform paint correction including machine sanding, wet sanding, buffing and finishing.
• Remove scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, paint defects and chips.
• Apply touch-up paint and UV Clear using proprietary processes.
• Restore vehicles to a showroom-quality finish with advanced detailing.
• Explain repairs and set expectations with customers.
• Complete repairs efficiently while meeting quality standards and productivity goals.
• Support route growth and customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.
