The role emphasizes customer service, upselling, and accurate tinting/mixing, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience for guests in Hartville, OH. Part-time hours include Saturdays and a 20–28 hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in paint sales or a related field is preferred.
• Strong color coordination skills and an eye for design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
• Basic computer skills for point-of-sale transactions and color matching.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in the paint department with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
• Provide expert advice on paint products, color coordination, and suitable applications.
• Develop a deep understanding of paint products, finishes, and application techniques.
• Recommend additional paint products and accessories to enhance customers' projects.
• Operate paint tinting and mixing equipment to prepare custom colors.
• Monitor paint inventory levels and communicate with the inventory control team for restocking.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure the paint department is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
