A precision coating company is seeking a Paint Cell Operator in Providence, RI. Responsibilities include preparing and finishing parts, applying coatings, and maintaining a safe work area. The ideal candidate is detail-focused, dependable, and must pass a background check. Training is provided during the week, with weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) expected. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR regulations (must provide one of the following: valid U.S. passport, birth certificate, permanent resident card, or naturalization certificate)
• Available to work Weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 9AM-9:30PM)
• Note: Training will take place Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM
• Dependable, detail-focused, and eager to learn and grow

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coat, and finish parts with precision and care.
• Clean and mask parts to protect areas from overspray.
• Grit blast components to prepare surfaces for coating.
• Unmasking and cleaning parts after coating to prepare for shipment or the next operation
• Following technical drawings, blueprints, and process instructions
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Supporting other production tasks as needed

What You’ll Do

As a Paint Cell Operator, you’ll be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts with precision and care. Your tasks will include:

• Cleaning and masking parts to protect areas from overspray during blasting, peening, or painting
• Grit blasting components to clean or prepare surfaces for coating
• Applying dry film lubricants and paints to hardware using proper techniques
• Unmasking and cleaning parts after coating to prepare for shipment or the next operation
• Following technical drawings, blueprints, and process instructions
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Supporting other production tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screening
