Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering).
• Evidence of sustained academic research or investigative approaches through their training period and as Assistant Professor in an academic medicine environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead research programs in neuroscience, pain, and addiction research.
• Collaborate with existing faculty and engage in the educational mission of the Department and University.
• Mentor post-doctoral fellows and clinicians and secure extramural funding.
