Job summary

The Spine Hospital Of Louisiana in Baton Rouge is seeking a Pain Medicine RN to prepare patients, assist physicians, perform preop and postop activities, and maintain sterile environments between procedures.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Louisiana RN licensure, and ACLS and BLS certifications. Two years of experience is preferred, with emphasis on teamwork, documentation, and patient safety in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, gather supplies, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative care for pain medicine patients.
• Document preop, intraop, and postop care and communicate with physicians.
• Maintain aseptic environment and restock supplies between procedures.
• Schedule and manage pain procedures and clinic appointments.
• Demonstrate leadership and act as a resource for staff.
