Location: 10105 Park Rowe Circle, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. Schedule: Monday - Friday. The role emphasizes patient safety, clear communication, and high-quality outcomes in a specialty hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN license through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and clinical judgment skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, privacy, and compassionate care.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for pain management procedures.
• Prepare supplies and equipment, maintain an aseptic environment, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Administer medications and IV therapies according to physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patients, recognize changes in condition or post-injection complications, and respond appropriately.
• Provide procedure-specific education and complete pre- and post-procedure calls.
• Document patient care accurately and coordinate procedure and clinic scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safe procedure and patient care areas.
• Support departmental teamwork, orientation, and cross-training across perioperative areas.

Required
