The Division of Pain Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a pain medicine physician to join our practice collaborating with 6 additional physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. We provide adult care with focus on the interventional practice offering the full scope of procedures and multidisciplinary pain care at the Mayo Clinic Phoenix hospital campus.

An academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine will be appointed based on merit.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completed ACGME pain fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine and base specialty.
• Interdisciplinary care with advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient pain medicine care.

Responsibilities

The Division of Pain Medicine at Mayo Clinic Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a pain medicine physician to join our practice collaborating with 6 additional physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. We provide adult care with focus on the interventional practice offering the full scope of procedures and multidisciplinary pain care at the Mayo Clinic Phoenix hospital campus. We work closely with our colleagues in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurosurgery. This opportunity will be as a full-time pain medicine clinician, with clinical domains primarily in the outpatient setting but also covering the inpatient pain service. An academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine will be appointed based on merit. Opportunities for growth in educational, research, and administrative areas may be available for the interested candidate as the position matures.

License or Certification: The candidate must be a physician (MD or DO) with ACGME certified pain medicine fellowship training and board-certification/board-eligibility in Pain Medicine as well as in their base specialty. Candidates must be interested in clinical management of pain patients with complex medical histories via a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach. Candidates must possess the ability to perform a wide range of fluoroscopic pain medicine procedures including a breadth of spinal injections, radiofrequency ablations, peripheral and spine stimulator trials, ultrasound-guided procedures, intrathecal pump management, advanced procedures, and newer and upcoming procedures and techniques. Candidates must be willing to educate and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students and to work within care teams incorporating Advanced Practice Providers and nursing during clinical care assignments.
