Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. seeks a Pain Medicine physician to join a physician-led group in Northwest Indiana, located about 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.

Board Certified/Eligible in Pain Medicine, licensed or eligible in Indiana, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and interventional care within a high-tech hospital environment. Qualifications

• MD or DO graduate from a US medical school.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pain Medicine via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology.
• Indiana medical license or eligibility within 90–120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and medical/interventional treatment for adults with acute and chronic pain.
• Perform interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure settings.
• Collaborate with spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, PTs, and PCPs.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with controlled substance management and patient safety.
• Engage in practice development and quality improvement initiatives.

Pain Medicine Physician

Location: Munster, Indiana

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

An established, highly regarded healthcare system in Northwest Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pain Medicine Physician to join its growing, physician-led group practice.

Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, this position offers the ideal combination of a subspecialty practice, high-tech hospital infrastructure, and exceptional work-life balance. Practice in a HIMSS Stage VII environment featuring full EPIC EHR integration with modern AI functionality. You will collaborate with a collegial team of physicians who are eager to provide mentorship and support as you build a practice tailored to your clinical goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medical/interventional treatment for adult patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure suite settings
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, physical therapists, and primary care physicians
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical tools and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and health system guidelines regarding controlled substance management and patient safety
• Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school (MD or DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology subspecialty pathway).
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).
• Strong proficiency in interventional pain modalities, comprehensive patient assessment, and multidisciplinary care planning.
