6 Degrees Search is seeking a Pain Medicine Physician in Munster, Indiana. This full-time, permanent role offers subspecialty practice with a high-tech hospital setting and strong mentorship within a physician-led group.

The candidate should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine and hold an active Indiana license or be eligible within 90–120 days. EPIC EHR and AI-assisted documentation are integral to the workflow, with a focus on quality care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited US medical school (MD or DO).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine (via Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology subspecialty pathway).
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible for state licensure within 90–120 days).
• Strong proficiency in interventional pain modalities, comprehensive patient assessment, and multidisciplinary care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medical/interventional treatment for adult patients presenting with acute and chronic pain conditions
• Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures in outpatient and procedure suite settings
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of spine surgeons, neurologists, orthopedists, physical therapists, and primary care physicians
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical tools and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and health system guidelines regarding controlled substance management and patient safety
• Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives

Located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, this position offers the ideal combination of a subspecialty practice, high-tech hospital infrastructure, and exceptional work-life balance. Practice in a HIMSS Stage VII environment featuring full EPIC EHR integration with modern AI functionality.
