Responsibilities

• Provide pain medicine care in an outpatient-dominant setting.
• Perform interventions including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and RFA as needed.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation and design practice around personal goals.

Job/Practice Description: Pain Medicine

• Location: Munster, IN (30 mins from Chicago!)
• Full-time, permanent position: 10% inpatient / 90% outpatient
• Pain clinic affiliated with a 458 bed local hospital
• Monday-Friday, flexible work schedule
• Approximately 25 clinic patients per day
• Call rotation: 1:4
• Subspecialty interests encouraged, with flexibility to design practice around personal goals
• Procedures:
• Epidural Steroid Injections
• Branch Blocks
• Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) for Pain
• Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant
• Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant (Trial Procedure)
• Trigger Point Injections

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
• Credentialing process takes approximately 90-120 days after an offer is accepted
