Job summary

Trinity Health RN Clinic in Minot, ND, is seeking a skilled registered nurse to join our outpatient pain management team. You will perform comprehensive assessments, administer treatments, monitor patients, and support providers throughout procedures.

You will coordinate diagnostic testing, educate patients and families, and help with setup and sterile technique. A ND or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS within orientation are required, with potential travel to satellite clinics.

Qualifications

• Current ND or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification within orientation period.
• ACLS certification within orientation period.
• Ongoing point of care certifications as required for department, within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, administer treatments, and support providers during pain management procedures and interventions.
• Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile fields, and assist with patient positioning, retraction, and procedural setup and cleanup.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including those receiving sedation, and document vital signs and clinical responses accurately.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, laboratory specimen handling, and follow-up communication to support continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on procedure expectations, medication regimens, self-management strategies, and signs that require medical attention.
• Collaborate with providers, anesthesia teams, and clinic staff to address patient concerns, support care transitions, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
