Job summary

The Licensed Psychologist at Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City, UT, joins a multi-disciplinary team to provide psychotherapy, assessments, and testing as part of comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology.
• Education from an accredited institution; degree will be verified.
• Current license as a psychologist in state(s) where patient care is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Assesses medical history and mental health history to guide treatment.
• Diagnoses and treats mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including psychotherapy or testing.
• Develops care plans with input from patients, families, physicians and care team.
• Provides treatment based on patient needs and evidence-based interventions.
• Refers patients to community services or other providers to improve well-being.
• Documents pertinent information in the patient’s plan of care.
• Consults with the multidisciplinary team to develop treatment and discharge plans.
