Job summary

Clifton Burt Pain, PC is seeking a skilled Physician to join our dedicated medical team in Clifton, NJ. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment, evaluating and treating pain-related conditions with a collaborative approach.

The role involves performing physical exams, ordering tests, interpreting results, and educating patients on treatment options to improve quality of life. NJ license and relevant board certification preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
• DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pain Management, PM&R, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for pain-related conditions.
• Perform thorough physical examinations and review patient medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab results.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing patient care per guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams including specialists, nurses, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and pain management strategies.
• Perform and interpret electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS).
