Job summary

HESS SPINE AND ORTHOPEDICS LLC in New Jersey seeks a highly motivated PHYSIATRIST to join our Orthopedic Spine and Extremity practice. You will collaborate with our renowned team to provide exceptional patient care, focusing on spine, extremity and pain management procedures (no narcotics, only procedures).

The role supports multi-location work (Clifton, Hackensack, Paramus, Fairfield, Jersey City, Union) with a flexible schedule, no required weekends, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• MD/DO must be licensed in NJ or eligible.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-operative and post-operative assessments of patients.
• Review patient medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans.
• Work up patients and indicated injections and procedures.
• Mix of follow ups, new patients, telemedicine, AND injections.
• EMG experience preferred.
• Provide patient education on treatment options, risks, and post-operative care.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor progress and address concerns.
• Manage and update patient records, ensuring documentation.
• Assist in coordination of patient care, including referrals and consultations.
• No rounding; No call; No weekends required but are optional.
• Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, and radiologists; communicate with patients and families; participate in team meetings.
