Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician/Physiatrist to join our team, serving New Hyde Park and Richmond Hill offices. The candidate will diagnose and treat pain conditions with emphasis on interventional procedures, and provide comprehensive care in a friendly, professional atmosphere.

Requirements include residency training in PM&R, fellowship in Interventional Pain Management, MD or DO, board certification, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, neurological, spinal disorders and other conditions affecting movement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including physical therapy, acupuncture, and injections and interventional procedures.
• Perform interventional procedures such as cervical/lumbar epidural injections, medial branch blocks, RFA, and spinal cord stimulator trials.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician/Physiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive pain management services between both offices New Hyde Park and Richmond Hill, including the diagnosis and treatment of various pain conditions, with strong emphasis on interventional procedures. Seeking Candidates that are Residency Trained in PM&R and Fellowship Trained in Interventional Pain Management

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal, neurological, spinal disorders and other medical conditions that affect movement and function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including physical therapy, acupuncture, and injections and interventional procedures.
• Interventional procedures include Cervical/Lumbar Epidural injections, Medial branch blocks, RFA, Spinal cord stimulator trials, Percutaneous discectomy, SI Joint injections/Fusion, Joint injections and other interventions
