A leading medical staffing company is seeking a PM&R physician for a permanent position in Southern Ohio. The role involves managing an outpatient clinic with a patient load of 20-24 daily. The schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Fridays until noon. The position offers a competitive compensation package, including a sign-on bonus and various benefits.

Job description

Permanent PM&R job in Southern Ohio on the north bank of the Ohio River

Setting:

Outpatient clinic

Schedule:
  1. Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm
  2. Friday 8am - noon
Call Schedule:

1:3 weekend coverage for inpatient unit (shared with inpatient Medical Director and Locum Physician)

  • Physician
  • NP (PM&R)
  • Neurologist
  • NP (Neurology)
  • PA (Neurology)
  • 3 LPN
  • 5 MA
  • Office Manager
Caseload:

20-24 patients/day

Office Procedures on Wednesday afternoons. Average volume 6-10

Compensation Range:

$269,800 - $331,700 annually (2-year contract)

Benefits:
  • 4 weeks vacation/sick leave (29 PTO days)
  • Additional 5 days when producing 75th percentile w/RVUs
  • CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO
  • Medical School Loan Repayment: up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment)
  • Deferred compensation: 457B plan up to IRS limit
    • under age 50 is $19,500/year before taxes
    • over age 50 is $26,000/year before taxes
  • Retirement Savings Plan: 403B
  • Moving expenses paid up to $10,000 directly to moving company
  • Malpractice Insurance Coverage
  • Liquidated Damages: 70 mile & 2-year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary
  • Sign on bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract is signed and forgiven over 2-4 years)
  • Residency stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 years service commitment)
  • Bonus incentives: up to 30% of salary
