Job summary

Jax Spine and Pain Centers seeks a qualified clinician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of Pain Management physicians in our Pooler and Savannah offices. You will evaluate, diagnose, plan treatment, manage medications, and educate patients in a high-quality practice.

The role emphasizes evidence-based care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and adherence to clinical guidelines. Light on-call or scheduling variations may apply.

Qualifications

• PA/APRN certification or Florida NP cert with temporary license.
• Education may be substituted by experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Pain management, orthopedics, neurology, rheumatology, or primary care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and clinical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication, patient education and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently within scope and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Participate in medication management and controlled substance prescribing per policy.
• Order, interpret and evaluate labs and imaging.
• Assist with in-office procedures and follow-up evaluations.
• Educate patients on pain management strategies and medications.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists and specialists.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support clinic workflow and patient satisfaction.
