Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. in Miami Beach is seeking a Physician Office Coordinator to support the Neuroscience Institute Pain Management. You will help manage schedules and staff alongside the Office Manager in a fast-paced, credentialing-focused environment.

The role requires a Technical or Associate Degree (preferred) and 3–5 years of experience in a physician practice or healthcare setting, with supervisory responsibilities. On-site role offering comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Technical or Associate Degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in a physician practice/healthcare setting or other relevant supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• In collaboration with OC/MGR supervises staff on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of all operations within the Department.
• In collaboration with OC/MGR completes timely evaluation for each assigned staff on an annual basis or as stipulated.
• In collaboration with OC/MGR conducts weekly staff meetings with staff to keep them apprised of any changes on office policy or procedures.
• Follows the practice policy on completing all credentialing and re-credentialing applications for all Managed Care Companies for physicians in a timely manner.
• In collaboration with OC/MGR monitors and completes UKG for staff and ensures that any overtime is approved prior to occurring.
• In collaboration with OC/MGR schedules staff accordingly to ensure appropriate coverage for the department at all times.
• Regularly monitors office for JCAHO Compliance including reviews of sample drug logs, sharps and completeness of patient records including Ambulatory Summary Records.
