Pain Physicians of Wisconsin is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Kenosha, WI. The NP will assist with diagnosis, treatments, consultations, and operate in both clinical and outpatient ASC settings, independently or as part of a treatment team.

The role emphasizes patient education, preventative care, prescribing medications, ordering tests, and communicating results, with a focus on improving quality of life for patients in a specialty pain clinic.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Physicals.
• Collaborate with MD/ Anesthesiologist.
• Monitor plan’s effectiveness to optimize patient’s quality of life.
• Use prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations.
• Order Tests and Interpret test results.
• Order diagnostic tests.
• Record patient medical history.
• Communicate results to patients.
• Prescribe medications.
