Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current RN and NP licensure in each state of practice.
• National board certification as Family (FNP-BC) or AGPCNP-BC or AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNP-BC, ANP-C.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for patients with acute or cancer-related pain and evaluate pain conditions.
• Develop individualized pain management plans using medications and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and monitor progress.
