Job summary

Advocate Health's Concord-based practice is seeking an experienced APP for outpatient pain management. The role emphasizes a mix of procedures and medication management with no inpatient duties or on-call requirements.

The team includes physicians and APPs, with a dedicated support staff and opportunities to collaborate with academic partners. Schedule is M-F, 8am–5pm, offering a stable, patient-centered practice in a vibrant Charlotte-area network.

Qualifications

• Prior Experience as APP required.
• Experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics or Neurosurgery preferred.
• NC Licensed practitioner.
• Committed to compassionate care and fostering strong referral relationships.
• Flexible in tailoring treatment plans to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient only; no inpatient work or call required.
• Office hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 36 patient-facing hours.
• Mix of in-office procedures and medication management.

Position Highlights

• Concord Location
• Team of 20 clinicians, which include 10 physicians and 10 APPs
• Main location in Charlotte with 10 satellite locations in the surrounding Charlotte-metro area
• Outpatient only, no inpatient work or call required
• Office hours M-F, 8am – 5pm with 36 patient facing hours
• Mix of in-office procedures and medication management
• Well established patient panel
• Physician partner at location for collaborating and team approach to care
• Full complement of clinical and clerical staff with a robust float team for coverage as needed
• Hospital-based ambulatory clinic with procedural space
