Job summary

UToledo Health and the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences seek a Pain Management Anesthesiologist to join our academic team in Toledo, Ohio. The role emphasizes evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic pain using multimodal approaches, alongside perioperative anesthesia care for procedures.

The faculty will teach medical students and residents, with opportunities to engage in research, leadership, and program development in a collaborative academic setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active or eligible Ohio medical license.
• Board certification or in process in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in Pain Management.
• Eligible for academic appointment at UT and UTMC as Instructor/Asst/Assoc/Prof.
• Commitment to teaching fellows, residents and medical students.
• Credentialing at UT, UTMC and affiliated institutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide pain management evaluations and multimodal treatment plans.
• Deliver anesthesia care for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents.
• Participate in research, leadership and program development.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary academic environment.
