Job summary

UK St. Claire seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to deliver direct patient care for routine to moderately complex conditions.

You will interpret clinical data, perform independent clinical reasoning, and contribute to ongoing care improvement with a multidisciplinary team. Minimal supervision is expected, with responsibility for accurate documentation, adherence to guidelines, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and board certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program, Physician Assistant Program, or other specialized clinical advanced education (e.g., Midwifery, Anesthesia)
• Current, unrestricted specialty license/certifications as applicable to the job. Active and unrestricted as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Kentucky (Ohio, if applicable). National Board Certification in the relevant specialty, if applicable. Certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, high‑quality, patient‑centered care for routine to moderately complex conditions.
• Interpret data and determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Collaborate with senior professionals and multi‑disciplinary teams to develop clinical methods and improve care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure documentation meets billing and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to clinical guidelines, quality initiatives, and safety protocols.
