Job summary

UK St. Claire is seeking a registered nurse to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care across diverse clinical settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care, educate patients and families, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.

This role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 0-2 years of experience; BSN is preferred. You will document care, participate in quality initiatives, and maintain licensure in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• 0-2 years of nursing experience; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Current RN license and BLS; ACLS and other listed certifications may be required.
• Experience with documentation in clinical settings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and screenings with documentation.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and risks; coordinate with teams.
• Document all patient care activities in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve quality and safety.
• Maintain licensure and certifications; participate in mandatory training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
