Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a phlebotomy-ready team member in Seattle to support mobile blood drives. No prior medical experience required; paid phlebotomy training provided. You will assist donors, ensure comfort and safety, and help transport and set up equipment at collection sites.

You’ll work with a welcoming team, maintain high attention to safety and regulatory standards, and contribute to lifesaving blood donations across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors – listen to their stories and help them understand how impactful their donation is.
• Collaborate with your teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment so our volunteer donors feel comfortable coming back again.
• Be detailed oriented all day, every day. This ensures that the blood you collect meets goals, regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused.
• May drive Red Cross vehicles and you will work with the team to set up and tear down equipment at the donation sites.
