Job summary

CSI - Coker Service, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Field Service Technician Trainee for the Chicago area. You will be trained to install, service and repair commercial kitchen equipment and to troubleshoot issues on site.

During training you will learn electrical, gas, steam and refrigeration technology and be paid while learning. The role requires travel to client sites and the ability to work in noisy, busy kitchens.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision after training.

Responsibilities

• Route to job site and equipment to be repaired.
• Drive to job sites.
• Repair equipment on-site.
• Complete work documents on tablet for approval.
• Coordinate with manufacturers or customer service if warranty applies.
• Submit paperwork on time for billing.
• Order parts needed to repair equipment.
• Maintain company vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
