Job summary

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI offers the Summer Nurse Internship – 47th Annual Program. This paid, 10-week experience runs May 24 to August 1, 2027, with a 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks) across day, evening, and weekend shifts in a clinical area chosen for exposure.

Eligibility includes being on track to graduate from an associate or baccalaureate nursing program by December 2027 or May 2028, and holding active CNA, EMT-B/P, LPN, or BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Be on track to graduate from an associate or baccalaureate nursing program by December 2027 or May 2028.
• Hold an active CNA, EMT-B, EMT-P, or LPN license/certification.
• Current BLS certification with hands-on training.
• Available to work 60 hours per two weeks across shifts for the full 10 weeks.
