Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago offers an internship providing real-world exposure to financial reporting, ESG-related tasks, and regulatory submissions. You’ll assist with monthly and quarterly tasks, learn about SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), and collaborate with PwC for audit support in a team-oriented, in-office setting.

Applicants should be undergrad, sophomores, GPA 3.0, accounting or general business; Excel skills desirable.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student enrolled in a four-year program.
• GPA of at least 3.0 and in good academic standing.
• Must enjoy working in a team-focused, in-office environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting to OF, FHFA and regulators.
• Learn about SEC and Regulatory Reporting for quarterly and annual filings (10-Q/10-K).
• Assist with data submissions, data analysis, and cross-team communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors (PwC) for documentation.
• Participate in bank-wide events to understand the culture and ESG initiatives.
• Support ad-hoc and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
