Vermont Mutual invites you to join a paid, full-time, 10-week Summer Internship Program in Montpelier, VT, running June 7 – August 13, 2027. This immersive program offers exposure to Commercial & Personal Lines Underwriting, Claims, and Risk Analysis as you rotate through key areas of the insurance business.

Rising juniors or seniors pursuing a BS in business, marketing, or related fields will develop analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills while working with experienced

Qualifications

• Rising juniors or seniors pursuing a BS degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and organized, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Able to commute to our Montpelier, VT office

Responsibilities

• Rotate through several key areas of the insurance business, including Commercial & Personal Lines Underwriting, Claims, & Risk Analysis
• Gain real-world experience and build professional connections in a supportive environment
• Work a full-time schedule during the 10-week summer program
