Job summary

Tech Sales Jobs invites applications for a Summer 2027 College Intern in Sales and Service location across Rochester, Buffalo, Utica, Dewitt, Binghamton, and Albany. This part-time, paid internship runs ten weeks from June to August, offering workshops, mentorship, and real-world project experience.

Interns will work with Sales, Account Service, Marketing, Training, and Leadership on a capstone project to improve sales resources, onboarding, and information access. Housing is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Support key strategic initiatives across Sales and Account Service while gaining exposure to health insurance, sales operations, account management, customer experience, and business analytics.
• Work with Sales, Account Service, Marketing, Training, and Leadership on a variety of projects throughout the summer.
• Capstone Project: Sales Effectiveness & Resource Optimization Initiative focusing on improving tools, resources, and information used by the Commercial Markets Sales and Account Service teams.
• Meet with Sales and Account Service associates, managers, and business partners to identify challenges and opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate current sales resources, training materials, Teams channels, SharePoint sites, WebCRD content, and other commonly used tools.
• Identify gaps, duplicate content, and inefficiencies that impact productivity and onboarding.
• Develop and organize standardized program overviews, educational resources, and quick-reference tools for client, prospect, and broker conversations.
• Create a centralized "Where to Go For..." guide to help employees locate key reports, systems, contacts, and resources.
• Research best practices in sales enablement, knowledge management, and onboarding.
• At internship end, present recommendations to leadership including findings, improvements, and future-state recommendations.
