Job summary

She Executives, an established publicity and public relations agency in El Segundo, is seeking a Paid Public Relations & Publicity Intern to gain hands-on experience behind the scenes.

This part-time role welcomes students or recent graduates interested in publicity, entertainment, and media, offering real client work, media outreach, and a potential transition to a full-time Publicity Assistant position.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in PR, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Research journalists, media outlets, influencers, podcasts, and publicity opportunities.
• Build and update media lists and industry contacts.
• Monitor media coverage and assist with press clips and coverage reports.
• Help prepare pitches, press materials, client updates, and campaign documents.
• Research entertainment projects, media trends, and pop-culture news.
• Support interviews, events, premieres, and other press activities.
• Help keep campaign calendars, reports, and project materials organized.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
