This part-time role welcomes students or recent graduates interested in publicity, entertainment, and media, offering real client work, media outreach, and a potential transition to a full-time Publicity Assistant position.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in PR, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Research journalists, media outlets, influencers, podcasts, and publicity opportunities.
• Build and update media lists and industry contacts.
• Monitor media coverage and assist with press clips and coverage reports.
• Help prepare pitches, press materials, client updates, and campaign documents.
• Research entertainment projects, media trends, and pop-culture news.
• Support interviews, events, premieres, and other press activities.
• Help keep campaign calendars, reports, and project materials organized.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.

Paid Public Relations & Publicity Intern

She Executives is recruiting on behalf of an established publicity and public relations agency located in El Segundo. We are looking for a motivated and dependable intern who is ready to learn, contribute, and gain hands‑on experience working with a professional publicity team.

About the Opportunity

This is a paid, part‑time internship for a student or recent graduate interested in building a career in publicity, communications, journalism, marketing, media, or entertainment.

You will support real client projects, learn how the team works with the media, and gain experience that can strengthen your résumé and portfolio. For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to transition into a full‑time Publicity Assistant position.

What You’ll Do

• Research journalists, media outlets, influencers, podcasts, and potential publicity opportunities

Position Details

• $21 per hour


• Approximately 20–30 hours per week


• Based in El Segundo, California


• Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process

She Executives is managing recruitment and candidate coordination on behalf of the hiring agency. The selected candidate will be employed and paid directly by the agency.
