Job summary

OCTA is seeking a College Intern for Revenue Administration in Orange, CA. This part-time role (~20 hours/week) offers exposure to grants, financial reconciliations, compliance, and program analysis.

You will assist with data collection, reporting, and project tracking under experienced staff, developing analytical and communication skills. The internship pays $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with mentorship and opportunities to grow within public-sector finance and grants administration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time as a college student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, research, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grant administration and ongoing departmental projects.
• Support recurring financial and program reconciliations.
• Assist with compliance audits and related documentation.
• Compile, organize, and analyze financial and program data.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets, tracking tools, and reports.
• Assist with program analysis and research assignments.
• Prepare presentations, memos, reports, and other business materials.
• Support project tracking and monitor activities, deadlines, and deliverables.
