During training, compensation is $16.00/hour plus benefits; upon completion, $18.00/hour plus benefits. The program requires a high school diploma or GED, with no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: No experience required.
• Licensure: No licensure/certifications are required to apply to this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood collection using a variety of techniques to ensure minimal discomfort to the patient.
• Provides a high standard of customer service while maintaining workflow.
• Verifies patient identification in accordance with Medical Center Policy with any intervention.
• Collects laboratory specimen with accuracy and timeliness as indicated by ordering and lab testing priorities.
• Documents all information related to specimens collected in accordance with departmental policy.
• Assist with specimen processing and handling in accordance with policy and procedure.
